Bute Jazz Festival

We have recently been to the Bute Jazz Festival in Scotland. It was really excellent, especially as there was free camping on the prom, right in the middle of town.  Servicing was available there too. Luckily all the concerts were indoors as it rained  most days, which rather put paid to our plans of doing  lots of biking. From Bute we went on to the Mull of Kintyre, where again it rained, but with some very scenic wild camps.  Then to Arran where again it rained most days, but with wild camping right next to the sea every night. We finished our month long trip at Yethome where we celebrated the finish of the Pennine Way with our eldest daughter and her friend. This time we did have a campsite at the town of Yethome, which is very nice.

Sorry to miss Moffat, but it just didn`t fit in with our pre-booked plans.
