Peterborough Motorhome show meet April 2022
The one thing this show is famous for is rain & plenty of it! A common site used to be tractors ready to pull vans on & off the grass pitches.
This year not a drop of rain! Blue skies daily but with a very cold easterly wind.
Our allocated IHOC camping area for once was relatively close to the show area.
19 vans attended & it was good to see members old & new.
Members enjoyed a welcome drink (& nibbles of course) & catching up with friends.
Martyn & Tina House were our marshalls this year, not forgetting Perry, their 18 year old Poodle.
They had prepared a quiz of brain teasers for us to do during our stay. IH Owners are certainly a competitive lot!
Despite the cold wind, we managed to sit out each evening discussing purchases from the show amongst other things.
On Saturday we had a group gathering with the obligatory wine & nibbles of course & the competion results.
The next club meet is at the Western Motorhome show at Malvern starting on the August 18th for 4 nights. After that, the next meet is at Sandhead near Stranraer, Scotland commencing on 30 October.
