We have recently been to the Bute Jazz Festival in Scotland. It was really excellent, especially as there was free camping on the prom, right in the middle of town. Servicing was available there too. Luckily all the concerts were indoors as it rained most days, which rather put paid to our plans of doing lots of biking. From Bute we went on to the Mull of Kintyre, where again it rained, but with some very scenic wild camps. Then to Arran where again it rained most days, but with wild camping right next to the sea every night.

Thank you to Graham and Rosemary, John and Ann for arranging the meet in Scotland. The camp site was in a good location for visiting the town of Moffat which was only a short walk away. It was great that The Green Frog cafe, where we could get together, was so close and the meal they laid on for us was first class.
