IH Owners meet Peterborough Show June 2021
After so long it was great that we could at last have an Owners meet. Meets arranged for last year sadly were all postponed & then of course subsequently cancelled. Peterborough show usually takes place in April. At some previous Peterborough meets, some vans have needed the help of tractors to get on & off a sodden camping area but being in June this year, instead of dodging the rain, we were all looking for shade this time. After initial cloud we had a very hot sunny few days. Awnings & sun blockers were all put to good use.
The good dry weather allowed all of us to sit out in the late afternoon with a glass of wine (or juice!) & have a good chat.
12 vans were booked to attend which reduced to 10 as sadly, due to non Covid health issues, 2 couples couldn't attend.
Peterborough Motorhome show is a never a large show & was even smaller this year, partly due to Covid & partly due to van dealers having little stock to sell after the increase of sales over the last months.
The show was still quite busy at times & our members managed to get items on their shopping lists.
Hopefully the good weather will join us again at The Malvern Motorhome Show starting on the 19th August. Details are given on upcoming events. It's not long to the closing date if you havent't already booked.
