An Informal Site

HENRY’S at the Lizard the most southerly site in the UK.  We visited at the end of May/June

The first view of Henry’s

Just below the automatic barrier to the left is the farmhouse kitchen which acts as the office/reception, the open doors on the right is the site shop. At the bottom of the drive by the flags on the right is the wash-up and first facilities block. We were pitched beyond this block on the right

Our pitch was open with a great view out to sea.

On booking in we were informed of live music in the Fire Pit from 8-30pm a warm fire, music and a drink, an enjoyable evening.

If you are into Scrumpy the site sells it by the jug in 1 or 2 pint measures, sales of it seemed good.

A totally informal and relaxed atmosphere with a variety of different pitches and varied locations.

The unisex facilities were kept clean and tidy. You can even do all your washing.

When the chores are done you can relax in the meeting area and exchange stories.

Beware hens and ducks are free to roam some of the hens are exotic; the inquisitive ones are quite likely to explore your van.

Lizard village is less than two minutes away. If coastal path walking is your thing this area has it all most routes from the site end up on the coast. We had a good time here; the weather for once was on our side, in tee-shirts and shorts! We will be going again.
