Winter get together Cirencester November 2021

With the uncertainties surrounding Covid, the club was not able to organise a winter meet this year.

Instead, it was suggested that, an informal get together of club members would be the next best thing at the beginning of November.

The Caravan & Motorhome club site at Cirencester was proposed due to its size and its proximity to the centre of town with a pleasant walk through the adjacent Bathurst Estate parkland.

The town centre has many interesting buildings and lots of local shops and of course, a Waitrose and a M&S Food Hall!

16 vans arrived from all parts of the UK.

On the first day, some members soon found the interesting outdoor market

The weather for the time of year was generally very kind to us allowing us to catch up with each other. It was also a good opportunity to meet members who had not been to a club meet before.

On the 11th November, we gathered together with our mugs of coffee for a chat & to observe the 2 minutes silence to mark Remembrance Day.

For 2022, a meet has been arranged at Wolverley Camping & Caravanning Club site in April.  

Also, in April, a club area has been reserved at the Motorhome show at Peterborough &

similarly, in August a club area has been reserved at the Motorhome show at Malvern.

Both Motorhome show meets require a minimum of 10 vans booked for them to go ahead.

Plans are also underway for a winter meet in October / November. Keep an eye on the website for details.
